Drink for Rats is an artist collective that prides itself on its assembling of multimedia artists from many different cultures and backgrounds. Hann Elias, Griffin Holmes, Jacob Sloniker, and Tia Shekelle met at Cornish College of the Arts in 2017. Respectively, they are an interior architect/lighting designer, forester/arborist, filmmaker/producer, and mixed media artist.
Hann Elias is the Manager of Standard Products and the Head of Wood Product Development at Graypants Studios, where they design and produce lighting for residential and commercial projects. They also work as a freelance designer specializing in mirror installations and woodworking.
Griffin Holmes is an ISA certified climbing arborist with a degree in Environmental Science and Resource Management from the University of Washington, as well as painter, writer, and creative.
Jacob Sloniker is the founder and creative director of Long Summer Productions. He has directed, shot, and edited many documentary films, and has acted as the sound designer for films as well as different forms of live productions such as concerts and theatrical productions.
Tia Shekelle currently works at Cornish College of the Arts alongside her personal artistic practice. Aside from her fine arts practice of showing her work in galleries and attending residencies in the Pacific Northwest, her background includes content creation, media, PR, event planning, and administration within the music industry for organizations including Guayaki, SubPop Records, Summer Meltdown, TeenTix, and Cornish College of the Arts.
